solution to solve the problems you may be

encountering with your Diesel Particulate Filter.

The common symptom is poor MPG and  

Performance, ultimately resulting in replacement,

which can be expensive. But we can safely

remove the unit and replace it with a simple

section of pipe. The software in your ECU is then

reprogrammed (chipped) which in turn stops the

ECU trying to regenerate & Produce error codes.

Most vehicles fitted with a DPF will need to have it replaced at some point as part of the service schedule if it has not already become overloaded in the meantime, this can be very expensive.

Replacement Cost

A typical replacement cost for a Diesel Particulate Filter can be in excess of £1000. However by having the unit removed permanently and your ECU chipped, we can carry this out for £500 + VAT. This includes the removal of the old DPF and fitting of a replacement pipe plus the remap chip.

Models we currently cover are: Brera, Alfa 159, Alfa 156 and Alfa GT.

Please note that the diesel particulate filter is not currently a legal requirement, nor is it currently needed for the yearly MOT test, so the most cost effective solution is to have someone actually remove the DPF from the exhaust system. (Ideally using a replacement section, so that you can refit if ever required, such as at resale time or to satisy any changes to future MOT legislation)
